Fight the New Drug Social Awareness Ads
The objective of these ads is to raise awareness about pornography addiction and motivate action. The ads are for Fight the New Drug, an organization raising awareness about the harmful affects of pornography on individuals and society as a whole. The ads are unified by use of typography, photography, and the common element of a literal elephant found in each, playing on the tagline about porn being the “XXX elephant in the room.”
I shot my own photography for this project, giving me control over how the shots would be composed. I used InDesign to lay out the ads, and used Photoshop to edit the images, including putting the elephant onto the book cover in the first ad.
