Gracia at Northwood Logo
I was challenged to design a logo for Gracia, a Hispanic congregation in Charleston. They use the facilities of Northwood Baptist for their services since they do not have their own, so Gracia wanted a logo specifically for these services that would incorporate both churches. The Gracia at Northwood logo uses the curved cross from Gracia’s main brand adjacent to the leaf of Northwood’s brand.
This portrays both brands without adding or subtracting from one or the other. Both brands use green, so a darker lime green was chosen for the logo to give a fresh look on both congregations while still maintaining unity. Gracia’s logo uses a script font so I chose a modern handwriting font with a script feel so viewers would make the connection to the Gracia brand.
